I keep seeing this phrase "quick win" everywhere.
"I need a quick win for this new client" — a PR contact, during a virtual meeting a couple weeks ago.
"Now go ahead and lock in the quick win" — our corporate AI agent, DistroBot, in a recent Slack message.
"Quick Wins & Headlines," as a section to include in a suggested AI prompt titled, "Weekly Exec Meeting Agenda Template," courtesy of the newsletter Superhuman this week.
Did this term previously exist, and I was just oblivious as everyone else effortlessly racked up the quick wins?
Or did they all pivot while I perseverated on the slow wins?
One thing is for sure: I have my had my fair share of quick losses, as well as the proverbial but ever-dreaded slow losses.
