Cosmo Jiang, a general partner at Pantera, an investment firm specializing in blockchain, wrote last week that the "intersection of blockchain and artificial intelligence is becoming an increasingly important area of innovation as entrepreneurs begin building systems to combine the strengths of both technologies."
In Pantera's monthly investor letter, Jiang likened the convergence to the following technological bedfellows that have changed civilization:
- steam power and railroads
- electricity and modern manufacturing systems
- mass automobiles and highway infrastructure
- internet and smartphones
