DeAI project OG positions new Chrome-based AI agent as 'gateway app'

The new AI assistant, Ghast, will exist as a Chrome extension, can be set up in a minute and comes with more than 75 built-in tools, according to a blog post on Tuesday from the OG team.

It's connected to OG's decentralized infrastructure for model inference as well as the project's encrypted storage option. OG says Ghast could prove to be a "gateway app" similar to the launch of the Phantom wallet on the Solana blockchain ecosystem.

The move shows how decentralized AI projects are taking advantage of viral AI trends like OpenClaw to tout their infrastructure capabilities.
