CoinGecko, one of the most widely used crypto data platforms, has launched Gecko AI, a conversational research tool that lets premium subscribers query its datasets in plain English, according to Crypto Briefing.
The aggregator first unveiled the feature in a post on X and made it available at coingecko.com/chat.
The rollout is among the clearest signs yet that established crypto data providers are repositioning for an era of AI-first traders and researchers. Gecko AI, which went live April 22, returns sourced, verified answers drawn from CoinGecko's own tracked data rather than a general-purpose model. The platform monitors more than 17,400 coins and exchanges, over 36 million tokens, and roughly $2.239 trillion in tracked market value.
