The new site, Agentic.Market, was rolled out by Nick Prince, product lead for Base, which is the Coinbase-backed layer-2 blockchain atop Ethereum.
He described the new platform as "the homepage of the agent economy."
AI agents can also access the marketplace via a Model Context Protocol, or MCP, connection. MCP is often referred to as the "USB-C of AI" – essentially a way to plug anything in. So in this case, an agent could access the marketplace via the MCP rather than the way a human would – by actually visiting the website and looking at it.
